About SICF
SICF（スパイラル・インディペンデント・クリエーターズ・フェスティバル）は、東京・南青山にある「スパイラル」が若手作家の発掘・育成・支援を目的として2000年から開催しているアートフェスティバルです。公募によって選出された、さまざまなジャンルのクリエーターを紹介し、これまで数多くの新しい才能が、来場者との出会いを通し、活躍の舞台を拡げてきました。
会期の最後には、来場者の投票によって決まるオーディエンス賞をはじめ、クリエイティブ業界の第一線で活躍する審査員が選ぶ各審査員賞、準グランプリ、グランプリを優秀作品に授与します。
19回目を迎えるSICFは、従来のブース出展形式の「EXHIBITION」と、新たに設立したパフォーマンス部門「PLAY」の2部門を展開、クリエーターの多様性と新たな価値を生み出すエネルギーを象徴したメインビジュアルのような、既存の価値観に捕われない意欲溢れるクリエーターを募集します。
Organized by Spiral in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo, since 2000, Spiral Independent Creators Festival (SICF) aspires to discover, cultivate and support emerging artists and designers. It showcases the wide-ranging work of creative talent selected from an open call, offering visitors unique chances to encounter exciting new art.
The festival ends with the announcement of various awards, including "Audience Award", which is given to the exhibitor who receives the most votes from visitors, as well as "Grand Prize", "Semi-Grand Prize", and judges' awards, selected by a jury of leading figures in the creative industries. In addition to the regular booth-style "EXHIBITION", the 19th iteration of SICF will also feature "PLAY", a newly established performance section. As symbolized by the energetic gemstone in its key visual, SICF19 welcomes submissions of diverse creativity presenting fresh values and ambitious visions that transcend conventions.
「PLAY」応募要項
社会においてますます多様性が求められるなか、現代アートの表現領域も、身体表現、言論、メディアアートなど、広範囲に及んでいます。パフォーマンス部門である「SICF19 PLAY」では、ダンスや演劇等のパフォーミングアーツ、来場者参加型作品を含むアートパフォーマンス、スパイラルの空間を活かしたインスタレーション作品等、ジャンルを問わず、10 分以内で自由に表現していただきます。会期の最後には、各審査員賞、グランプリを発表します。スパイラルガーデンの公共空間に仕掛ける臨場感あふれる作品プランを募集します。

応募方法
基本情報などの必要事項を記入したメールに応募資料2点(a.作品コンセプトシート、b.審査映像)を添付の上、SICF事務局に送信してください。

参加者による自己PR映像（自己紹介や作品コンセプトについてのプレゼンテーション）または、SICF19で披露するパフォーマンスがわかる映像（過去参考作品可）を5分程度で収録し、YouTubeなどweb上にアップロードし、そのURLをお送りください。
※審査映像資料の提出が難しい場合は、作品イメージがわかる資料(A4サイズ 2枚程度/様式自由)をメールに添付してください。

審査結果
審査結果は2018年３月上旬にメールにてご連絡いたします。また、参加者はSICFウェブにて3月中旬に発表いたします。
審査を通過した方は、4月中旬に現地説明会へご参加いただいた上、下記日程で開催するSICF19に参加いただきます。
SICF19 PLAY
会期
Ⅰ日程：2018年4月30日(月・祝) 13:00-17:00 ［1組10分］
Ⅱ日程：2018年5月4日(金・祝)13:00-17:00［1組10分］
※審査選考通過者には上記日程のいずれかにご参加いただきます。
※参加者数、作品プランにより一部開催日時が変更となる場合がございます。
授賞式
2018年5月6日（日） 20:00-21:00
審査員による総評やクリエーターに向けたメッセージを公開します。
参加条件
①パフォーミングアーツ、アートパフォーマンス、インスタレーション、メディアアート、プレゼンテーションなど表現方法は自由。
※ただし、法令・公序良俗に反する作品は不可。
②準備時間は5分間、本番時間(撤収含)10分間の計15分以内で行なうこと。
③国籍、年齢、グループの人数は不問。
④指定の期日に実施する現地説明会に出席すること（指定期日は後日発表のため、都合が付かない場合は応相談）。
⑤火気・液体の使用は不可。施設を汚損しないものとすること。
⑥交通費、衣裳・小道具・大道具・稽古場・小屋入り等の費用は個人またはグループの負担。
⑦事前の場当たり/リハーサルは、出演日当日の開館時間前、１団体15分以内で行なうこと。
舞台環境
①スペース
・スペースサイズ：直径10m程度の円形空間
・床素材：カーペット
・舞台道具持ち込み可。素材、サイズ、スペースレイアウトを応募用紙に記入すること。
・電源使用可(1500w×4口)。使用量、機材、用途を応募用紙に記入すること。
② 照明
・パフォーマンス開始時間にスペース中央の固定明かりが点灯。
・演出のための照明調光/オペレーションは参加者で操作すること。
③音響
・音源使用の場合はPC/iPod等のMP3再生機器持参、またはCD、USBメモリに書込んで持参。
・スピーカー/マイク（2本）機材提供あり、オペレーションは参加者で操作すること。
※音量を制限する場合あり。
※映像機器の持ち込み可、サイズ、台数、電源使用量を応募用紙に記入すること。
④ 更衣室
・時間制で使用可。
※貴重品は参加者の責任のもと管理。

個人：15,000円（税込）、グループ：20,000円(税込)
※「SICF19 EXHIBITION」にも参加される方は、個人/グループ問わず、3,000円（税込）となります。
※参加料は審査を通過後、参加決定の際にお振込いただきます。応募は無料です。

参加者は、SICFを運営するスパイラル／株式会社ワコールアートセンターによる、本イベントの広報・宣伝に伴う 印刷物やウェブなどにおける、著作権使用を許諾するものとします。
個人情報は、応募作品の問い合わせ、審査の結果通知、その他SICFの業務で必要と思われる事項、および次回以降の案内をするために利用させていただきます。原則として、ご本人の承諾なしに、それ以外の目的で個人情報を利用または第三者に提供することはいたしません。

HOW TO APPLY
Please attach the two application materials (a. Work concept sheet, b. Review image) to the e-mail and after filling out all necessary information please send it to SICF office.

Self-promotion video (self-introduction and work concept) and a video showing a performance close to the one imagined for SICF 19 (past works accepted). Recording time should be of about 5 minutes.
＊If there is no possibility for you to submit a video explanation, you can also present yourself and your work on paper, please use an A4 size paper (no particular format) and join some images.

SELECTION
The selection will be announced at the beginning of March by mail and the list of SICF participants will be published on SICF official website in mid-March.
Those who passed the screening process will be able to participate in SICF19 "PLAY".

RULES
1- From performance to media art, or presentation, we will consider every artistic project.
2- Each participant has 15 minutes on stage. The preparation time should be of 5 minutes, the performance and the removal of 10 minutes in total.
3-Any nationality, any age and any number of performers may apply to this event
4-An information meeting will be held at Spiral. (the date will be communicated later).
The participation is not mandatory.
5-The use of liquid or fire is strictly forbidden. The performing area should not suffer any damage.
6-Any costs concerning the performance, including but not limited to, transportation, material, rehearsal studio... is at the entire charge of the performer.
7-A time for rehearsal will be scheduled before the show. Please note that the time allowed to rehearsal will be of 30 minutes.
DETAILS ABOUT THE STAGE
1-Space
Space size: Round space (diam.10m) / A part of the acting area will welcome art works (please refer to the plan).
Flooring: Carpet
You can bring your own material. However, each material has to be listed on the application sheet (please include the composition of the material, its size and its place on the layout).
About electricity: you can use electricity (1500wx4plugs). Please inform us of the voltage, the type of electronic material you are planning to use and any specification.
2-Lightning
The center of the stage will be unlighted at the beginning and our staff will shut off the lights at the end of the performance.
If you desire to have a special lightning during the performance please let us know. And we will inform you about how to use the lightning. Our staff will not do any operation during the performance.
3-Sound
If you plan on using music please bring a PC or an iPod or a CD or a USB key.
Our team will install speakers and 2 microphones. You will be in charge of the sound operation during the performance.
If the sound is too loud we may lower the volume during the performance. Please check with us during the rehearsal.
You can also project a video. In that case please inform us about the material, its size and the size of the pedestal as well as the electric specification.
4-Dressing room
If needed we can lend you a dressing room.

One adult： ¥15,000(tax included) / Group：¥20,000 (tax included)
* For participants of SICF19 "EXHIBITION", the performing fee is fixed at ¥3,000 (tax included)
* We will inform you later on the way of payment.
* Please note that there will be no refund.
